Passover

We had a great time at COB Speicher in Tikrit for Pesach! I was deployed there back in 2003-2004, and it was really something else to return four years later and see all the changes. One thing that didn't change was a series of sandstorms that passed thru Iraq the week before Pesach. Travel was extremely difficult and those soldiers who were able to come to the Seder didn't have an easy time traveling.

Everyone seemed to have a good time, and we even got together Monday, the 2nd day, for a matzoh ball soup lunch and learn. It's good to be back on Taji, but I'll miss the Jewish community in Multi National Division - North and COB Speicher, Tikrit.
